Applications
If you wish to join you will need to complete and sign a membership application form. We have recently streamlined our membership application process, and the Club membership office will be delighted to help you through all the stages. We have tried to make the procedure as quick and simple as possible.
- Please download a membership application form or, if you prefer, telephone the Club membership office on 020 7321 5103 and ask for one to be sent.
- Please complete and sign the form, and return it to us. If you have already identified your proposer and seconder, or just a proposer, please ensure that they, too, have signed the form before you post it back.
- Once your application has been proposed and seconded, we will put your name in the Candidates’ Book. Your application will then go before the Election Committee.
If you are elected, you will be asked to pay the first membership subscription. Once you have paid we will issue you with a membership card and you will be able to use the Club and any of our reciprocal clubs.
Proposers and Seconders
You will require signatures from two current members on your application form. However, please do not let the lack of a proposer or seconder deter you. In such circumstances we try to help potential members find the necessary signatories by consulting the database, to identify current members whom they may know from their time at College. We therefore suggest that you complete, sign and send in your form, without the required signatures. We will then contact you to ascertain if there is a way to take your application forward. We also host receptions in the Club house where members of our Committee will offer to propose and second an application.
