Chancellor's Suite
Our most luxurious accommodation is the Chancellor's Suite. If you would like to give your stay in London a touch of elegance we strongly recommend that you try it. It is located at the back of the Club with a fabulous view of Marlborough House and the Westminster skyline. The room includes a generous sitting area with 32 inch flat screen television, Wifi internet access and direct dial telephones, a king sized bed, a small area with fridge and coffee facilities, a dressing area and a spacious bathroom.
The sofa converts into a second bed and children aged ten or over may stay in the Suite making it an ideal base for a family in London.
Bedrooms
We have over forty bedrooms comprising a selection of twin, double and single rooms. All rooms (including the Chancellor’s Suite) have private bathrooms, flat screen televisions, tea and coffee facilities, a trouser press, Wifi internet access and direct dial telephones.
Early Morning Tea
You can book early morning tea or coffee to be served in your bedroom between 7am and 8.30am for a charge of £2.00 per person.
Payments
No payment is taken on booking but accounts must be settled before departure by cash, credit or debit card or a UK bank cheque. We accept Amex, Diners, Mastercard and Visa credit cards.
Cancellation
Bookings may be cancelled without penalty by giving the Club written notice of cancellation by letter, fax or email to be received not later than 2pm on the day BEFORE the day of scheduled arrival. Otherwise a charge will be made for the first night’s accommodation.
Letters of introduction
Reciprocal club members must produce a letter of introduction from their own club (unless we already have one on file) and their own club membership card valid for the current year at check in.
No smoking
As a result of UK government legislation introduced in 2007 smoking is prohibited throughout the Club house, including the balcony areas, but not on the Library Terrace.
Coffee Room
We are always delighted to welcome members of reciprocal clubs who wish to take meals in our magnificent Coffee Room, and suggest that you might like to lunch or dine there at least once during your stay so that you can enjoy its unique atmosphere. You can either book your own table or join members of the Club at the Club Table.
